Daytona 500 is set to go down this weekend in Daytona Florida. Every time the camera pans out you get to see the roof I helped put on the raceway last year after the hurricanes that rocked the state. Head over to the link below to check the details

NASCAR 06 daily events center on the Online Leaderboards, with each day focusing on an individual board. The events culminate each Friday with the player at the top of the weekly view Overall board named the online all-star for the following week.

25 to Life…..

by Chris on January 23, 2006 @ 7:30 pm

Im only a hater on violent games when it comes to subjecting children to them. I feel there is a medium for all types of entertainment it should however be regulated for minors. However this Xbox360 title 25 to Life… I appreciate. The game at least leaves a hint to what you can recieve for deciding to take up a life of crime and violence. Parents who read a title like that and say thats the game for my child…there is societies problem not the creators and sellors. The screens are up at link below and it looks great for the right audience..

Play as either cops or gangsters in this urban third-person shooter. Witness the gritty lifestyles of police task forces or iced-out gangstas! Survive the local neighborhood thugs while fighting your way up the ranks. Bust out of prison and infiltrate the inner sanctum of the drug lord’s mansion. The game also features online gameplay for up to 16 players. Your knowledge of the streets will be put to the test because … 25 to Life IS the streets!

College Hoops 2K6

by Chris on @ 11:00 am

Sorry that the Xbox360 is that amazing that most of the game coverage has been aimed toward it. If you live in some closet then you don’t understand why but I’m just impressed lately by the games coming out for it. College Hoops 2k6 is scheduled to release on January 30 2006. The game looks nice and promises you can see facial expressions of the players… I’m not too concerned over the face of the player in the game I’m more interested in the face of the person I’m schooling when I play.. check it

College Hoops 2K6, the number one rated college basketball game four years running, comes to Xbox 360, bringing over 325 NCAA college teams to life in a full-featured game with all the technology advances of Xbox 360—fully 3-D crowds, uniquely animated student sections, cloth movement, sweat, facial expressions, skin detail, and the complete college pageantry.

Games like this series..The ones well past 10 and still going that started at 1 when you were younger…start to remind us of two known facts of life…1) One successful franchise can outlive the creator and 2) were getting old…doh. Been long way since Commadore64 and atari/pong…all the pioneers…Im sure die hard fans have been following this up but due for XBox360 is Final Fantasy XI. Beta cds are being given away over various mediums one is linked below if you qualify…

The February issue of Official Xbox Magazine has hit store shelves, and with it comes the free FINAL FANTASY XI beta! Players can grab the issue from their local retailers and be off exploring the world of Vana’diel in high definition in no time. Frame City Killer

by Chris on @ 10:43 am

Namcos cooking up this hot title over at there labs. Frame City Killers promise is much like that of a choose your own adventure book you would read when your a kid. They will give you basic outline of what needs to happen and you have limited flexability in which path you take to get there. Sounds like a Larry David script to me…8) either way living the life of a hit man may be something we all want to try and the console allows up this chance without any risk of death… wierd Is there anything a video game cant do for you ?

Frame City is a high-tech urban jungle in East Asia and the source of the deadly New Age drug Visual Acid. Play as Crow, a deep-cover agent posing as an assassin sent to eliminate Khan, the mysterious terrorist and kingpin of the Visual Acid syndicate. As the Frame City Killer™, a hit man, track and profile your targets to orchestrate the perfect hit. Acquire the right weapon, pay an informant, and set up the hit.

You’re in control—you decide how to carry out the mission. The more missions you complete, the closer you get to targeting Khan. Uncover the mystery and take out the criminal organization by any means necessary.

Demonik..not just a movie prop

by Chris on @ 10:36 am

At first I tought this game was a joke.. considering it is featured in the movie Grandmas Boy, the new Happy Madison feature with Adam Sandlers whole crew minus himself. But the game in the film he has been working on is actually real go figure. It looked fantastic in the film ..see for yourself…The link below has pictures and information on the release. I wonder if Ill be as good as Everyone loves raymond mom Doris Roberts who stars in film as well…

In Demonik, set deep within the Underworld, demons rage against their hell-like slavery and are summoned to do the bidding of the humans brave—or foolhardy—enough to summon them.

As a Demonik, stalk through various environments and perform the tasks of vengeance your summoner bids you to do. Many will stand in your way, but no one ever said causing pain and destruction would be easy. For every successful summoning, you will grow in power until you can finally break free from the chains that bind you.
